Responsibilities
Yes. To start I asked for extra responsibility in my first placement, so lead on a H&S project that encompassed business units. This continued into other placements, managing projects and eventually teams with the support of management and mentors.
Support & Guidance
There was coaching available to discuss imposter syndrome. We were placed with a mentor for support. All placement managers helped and guided. We had a cohort of fellow graduates who we formed close friendship with.
Culture
Supportive and prioritises development
Your Impressions
My placements have developed my skills and experience to the point where I am now an operational manager. I feel confident leading a team, and to tackle the operational challenges.
