Overview
Day to day tasks involve maintaining a common client service mailbox, and other projects helping out my placement manager ranging from creating infographics to some good ol' excel spreadsheet handling
Skills
Got better at excel, and learnt how to conduct myself properly in a professional corporate setting
Responsibilities
Not a lot honestly, which is understandable since the internship is only 8 weeks long and it does take a fair amount of time to get to grips with the terminology and processes of the bank
Support & Guidance
Manager was very nice and willing to show us the ropes
Culture
People are very friendly and also welcoming towards hybrid working which is nice if you don't live near to the office (considering it's in london and rent is sky high)
Your Impressions
Was rather enjoyable
Yes
Just be yourself, keep in touch with the latest happenings in the financial industry
