Overview
I carried out a rotation, working within the business rates team, valuation team and central agency team. I assisted with inspections and the completion of valuation reports. I also attended viewings and launch events and worked on a project creating a report of all schemes currently under development within London.
Skills
Developed upon my professional communication skills and gained a much greater understanding of the sector as a whole.
Responsibilities
I really valued the amount of responsibility I was given during my placement. I was involved within a wide range of projects, dealing directly with clients from the start.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support during my placement. As a non-cognate student, everyone was very accommodating and always went out of their way to answer my questions and offer guidance.
Culture
There is a lovely company culture. Everybody in the office was very welcoming and a very friendly, fun atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I have hugely enjoyed my summer placement, it has been an invaluable experience! I have made lots of connections within the industry and gained so much direction for my career.
