The Role
Excellent company to work for, the placement itself was a little different to what i thought it would be.
Genuinely appreciated as a colleague and friend.
Any issues i had were dealt with upon me bringing them to light.
Very busy, my group were understaffed and hence a lot of work was required.
I had numerous days where i was running my office. This is both good and bad.
The skills i have learnt won't massively help my degree as my placement is not directly related but as for developing myself as an employable asset, invaluable experience.
The Company
A good ballance between work and play.
Due to the busy nature of the office the placement was as organised as it could be.
Heavily developed my skills and abilities.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I have applied for a graduatte scheme but these are very competitive!
The Culture
There was only me and one other placement student in my office, so not as lively as i would have liked.
Quite expensive and slough is not very asthetically pleasing.
I never ventured out into slough, i tried reading as this was the city of the other placement student but that was it.
Only if we organised them.
