Overview
Attending internal and client meetings, preparing presentations and arranging workshops, taking minutes at meetings, shadowing a senior manager and researching.
Skills
Yes - my presentation skills. Watching managers and associates present on a regular basis, I learned what a good presentation looks like. At the end of my internship, I was able to do a presentation of my own (even though prior to the internship, this would have made me incredibly nervous). I also learned how to build good client relationships, and how to network with other employees at PwC.
Responsibilities
Yes - I was tasked with writing the minutes at many important client meetings - and these were crucial for the next steps in the project. I also prepared an important presentation myself and presented to many Managers and Senior Managers.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support and guidance - my career coach and team were incredibly friendly and were happy to answer any questions whenever I needed clarification on anything! They were also aware of my personal goals that I wanted to achieve in my time at PwC and they tried to give me tasks that aligned with the goals I wanted to achieve
Culture
People were super friendly and welcoming! I loved the 'dress for your day' policy as it made the work environment feel more relaxed.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot! I thought it was very insightful and the other employees were incredibly friendly .
Yes
Be confident ! - The relationships and networks I made at PwC is what defined my experience above everything!
