    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt very valued by my supervisor and colleagues that I worked with on a day-to-day basis

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I have been given constant support and guidance from my supervisor this year and have always felt comfortable asking questions

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The nature of the job has meant that workload has varied throughout the year. However, for the majority of the time, I have had exactly the right amount.

  • I have been given a great deal of responsibility this year and have definitely learnt a lot from the experience

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The placement has improved my confidence, communication skills and ability to keep calm when issues arise - skills which I believe will prove invaluable during my final year and beyond

    5/5

    Working from home

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Future employment prospects are possible but a placement does not mean that you are likely to be offered a job

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a good social scene amongst fellow placement students but there were not very many of us compared to other GSK sites

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living is fairly expensive as the area has transport links to London. Socialising in London is great fun but in general very expensive.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There is no nightlife in the local area, so you would have to venture further afield. However, we have enjoyed many nights out in Central London, and the trains usually run until the early hours.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were very few opportunities that I am aware of.
