Overview
On a day to day basis, I was networking with other interns and colleagues within the bank, attending client meetings specific team and helping my managers with their own individual projects. Also had time to work on a business project with other interns to deliver to our line managers by the end of the internship.
Skills
Learnt a lot- my confidence has upskilled, networking skills, excel skills, presentation skills, research skills, team work etc
Responsibilities
Although this may vary depending on which team within commercial banking you are placed within, the responsibility I had was collecting data, helping in research etc. Main responsibility was to learn as much about the bank through colleague meetings and self led learning.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support. Line managers always willing to help arrange meetings and anything that will aid in your learning. People in the bank overall very friendly and happy to chat and give support. Buddy support- a graduate helping yo during your 8 weeks.

Your Impressions
Very much enjoyed it. 8 weeks of work experience completely worth it. You get to make lifelong connections and gain a very valuable experience. People at the bank made the experience memorable.
