Overview
- networking and learning with Lloyds staff about their journey into their role, the requirements, job description and tasks. - learning about responsibilities of Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Communication, Retail and Commercial Banking - interactive case study tasks for a range of abilities in coding, presenting, software/business strategy and problem solving.
Skills
- learning about/ developed my skills in coding (specifically python), the world of banking and its future, what goes into software strategy - what each role in tech and data banking does and how they contribute to one another
Business Insight
It was great to remove stereotypes about the jobs available in the tech and data banking industry by learning that there are roles in communication and strategy. Also learned about what qualifications, requirements and skills will be needed to break into the banking industry
Culture
It was only a virtual insight but the company culture seemed great and very open to people of different educational/ experienced disciplines, backgrounds etc.

I enjoyed so much in the short space of time the internship was! Was able to reignite my skills I wasn't able to use in a professional setting yet
