Overview
I worked in 3 different teams within the SSC. this was accounts, BSO and BRFS. I worked in these teams to learn the software they use and the processes in which they are involved.
Skills
I have learned to understand ad use many different software such as Xero, Caseware and IPS. I have learned to understand the reviewing processes that go on within each department.
Responsibilities
A small amount but I can understand why there was not a lot of responsibility as BDO are a heavily regulated company.
Support & Guidance
As much as I needed. I never had any issues getting responses for questions.
Culture
Very good. Could nt get a better and more enjoyable atmosphere within and outside the office.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement a lot. It went by very quickly for all the right reasons.
Yes
As much as everyone says it, just be yourself. If you are not then they will know and not hire you.
