Overview
While working in Project Management I was calling with stakeholders and making sure projects are on track. Connecting with various stakeholders to find out information and help uncover automation solutions for manual processes. Working within a team to find solutions to issues within the broader HR work streams on a plethora of topics. Meeting senior leadership and learning about there experiences. connecting with people across the world on differing projects.
Skills
Yes in many areas mostly in communication and personal confidence. I have also improved my skills on Excel as this was not an application I had used extensively. Personal confidence and feeling supported by my team and colleagues, meaning my presentation skills improved with the confidence that made me feel more comfortable presenting.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given 3 personal projects to run and investigate, meaning I lead these projects and saw the whole lifecycle of project management.
Support & Guidance
I had a plethora of mentors and colleagues that supported me. Everyone was so helpful and willing to help. With lost of exposure to meet other work streams within HR which was a great way to learn about the different roles within HR.
