Overview
My role is highly involved with what my team is working on. I hold severally meetings daily, mostly on Zoom, for the various projects I am undertaking. In particular, I am closely working with another intern in the same department in another office, so we are in daily communication, either through Zoom or Teams chat. I generally speak to my manager, again either on Zoom or Teams chat, almost every day.
Skills
I have certainly devolved existing skills from my degree, such as critical thinking and analysis. In particular, I have learnt lots of new IT skills and ways of working more efficiently.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of responsibility, often shared with the other intern in my department, for several different projects.
Support & Guidance
My manager and team were fantastic, as was the central careers team.
Culture
Brilliant atmosphere and good culture, relatively informal in the office. Felt like I had the space to get things to done but that I could always contact my manager if I had a problem.
Your Impressions
I have really rwally enjoyed my time here. Each day, week and month has gone extremely fast so that's a good sign!
Yes
Be honest, open and enthusiastic. Don't try to be clever, just be straightforward,
