Overview
On a day to day basis I am collating resources from other members of the team to create a learning resource library. I help with ad hoc research for learning requests and review materials for clarity , impact and brand standards.
Skills
Confidence to communicate with people more effectively and using my own initiative to develop the projects I'm involved with
Responsibilities
I was given my own project to work on during the 12 weeks. While I was given a lot of support and guidance the project was my responsibility and It was up to me to ensure that goals and timelines were met.
Support & Guidance
I had regular meetings with my manager who would check in on me and ensure I knew what I was doing and what the next steps where. Everyone else in my team was also very happy to help and answer any questions
Culture
I worked almost the whole internship from home which changes the company culture and atmosphere a bit. However when I did go in the office was lovely and a brilliant place to work. Everyone was very accommodating and eager to help and ensured I was okay.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship. It was a brilliant opportunity to learn more about how a large charity operates. It was lovely to see how committed to the cause everyone was and this created a great working environment. I loved how friendly and accommodating the rest of my team were particularly my manager, and how eager they were to to help and ensure I settled in.
