Overview
Spent some time in 3 different departments, learning key accounting practices and training in various softwares and the services they offer.
Skills
Developed existing professional and personal skills such as communication, time management etc. Learnt new, practical skills such as technology, accounting specific etc.
Responsibilities
The work was largely accompanied if it was live, or it was a training/demo case to practice and learn from.
Support & Guidance
Plenty, always felt comfortable asking for help and assistance, or checking over week that I had completed to make sure it was correct.
Culture
Exceptional - exactly what it was described to be and more. Always felt comfortable and welcome.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed the whole internship, plenty of variety to keep things interesting and lots of support available throughout.
Yes
Do your research on the company - its values, the culture, the services offered to clients', the purpose etc Be yourself through the application/assessment process and while you are there, ask as many questions as possible you are there to learn.
