Overview
I am part of the intermediary operations team in distributions where we create insights and in turn improve business processes throughout the distributions team and beyond. We work with a lot of data and deal with requests and escalations coming from various parts of the company and customers
Skills
Asset management knowledge, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Excel. Improvement on communication skills, collaboration, strategic and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
Yes, a lot of the work I have done is impact work. I have taken ownership of various tasks and my insights and reporting has gone to senior management and been put up for change.
Support & Guidance
Quite a bit. Almost daily check-ins from the early careers team. Daily check ins with buddies and managers.
Culture
Care, there was a lot of care. There was care for my development, care for my wellbeing, etc.

I enjoyed it very much. The perfect way to get a deep understanding of the asset management world + the wealth management world - regardless of what stream you are in.
