Overview
Daily team meetings. Consolidating cost reports from business areas. Producing cost forecasts for future years. Producing data analysis for senior business. Attending educational sessions. Generating sheets for half year reports. Working on a group project.
Skills
Developed excel skills, collaborative skills, presenting skills. Gained a greater business understanding of asset management firms.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibility to produce outputs that were useful for the team, and used when in discussions with senior business members.

Culture
M&G has a very friendly company culture. I never encountered any hostility myself.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it for the most part, there were days that felt slow, and days that were fast paced and suitably challenging. The community of interns was very friendly.

It is a company under transformation, so depending on the business area you work in, it can be very rewarding.
