Overview

Skills
Excel, presenting, project management, market sizing.
Responsibilities
Two individual projects with full ownership of research output, presented to senior stakeholders. Analysis work was used on live projects.
Support & Guidance
Manager and wider team I was working in were really helpful, and I was confident in their support for me during my placement. Early careers team provided externally hired training that added little value and took up quite a lot of time at the start and middle of internship, required travel into Windsor office.
Culture
Very supportive culture. Line manager and team were very receptive to different working styles. People were really supportive.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed the work and my team. Early careers HR can be quite over enthusiastic with training and charity work, which has really good intentions but is quite slow and takes up 2 of the 9 week internship. The content of these weeks could easily be slimmed down into 2 or 3 days.
