The Role
I really enjoyed my job role in acquisitions, it is such an interesting subject to get involved with. Feel that I was lucky in the job role I was given.
Yes I felt my work was appreicaited and added value to the team.
Even though worked alone some of the time. My team members were always at hand if I didn't understand a task or needed guidance.
A very busy time in my department and so at times the workload could be alot. However this also contriuted to having real responibility, independance and learning new skills.
Given alot of tasks to complete. Very often worked indepentanty and given personal projects that impacted the buiness and involved making decisions to complete.
Aswel as job specific skills. I have learnt alot about the working culture and proffessionalism. Also generic useful skills such as time mangement etc.
The Company
Depends on what time of the month. Month end wre very busy.
The whole programme was very well organsied. There is a specific team focusin on your development which is sepeate from your work team.
There were plenty of calls that are set up on various skills (excel etc.) I took place on face-2-face training on two ocassions and there was also an endless supply oonlie training at our disposal.
Flexi Time
Working from home
Very appealing and will deinately be applying for a grad role. Unfortunate they rarely have finance roles.
The Culture
Very good community feel with othe placements and plenty of nights out arragned etc.
I didnt move to my job location so ot sure on the cost of living.
Not London but a student town so still good.
Lots of charity/ volunteer events to get involved with. Also sport teams.
