Overview
Most of my time was spent networking and learning and understanding the role. I undertook some tasks such as deriving accounting assumptions, calculating transfer values, updating reports and newsletters, manipulating pensions data in excel.
Skills
I have developed my excel skills since I undertook the training and practiced a lot within tasks. Developed my communication technique.
Responsibilities
I was left alone to do tasks and then i could ask questions if I had any. I was not monitored the whole time so it was my responsibility to complete them on time and to my best standard.
Support & Guidance
I received so much support. The people in my office were very friendly, welcoming and always answered my questions and helped me to develop. There is also a lot of training videos online that you can watch in your own time to develop.
