Overview
I worked on various technologies that would support many of the bank functions.
Skills
I got a lot of experience in large scale projects and various programming languages such as Python, Javascript etc.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibility adequate to my role and experience. I did feel like my work mattered to the business and that I was making a contribution.
Support & Guidance
We were assigned mentors and buddies which would give frequent support and guidance.
Culture
The culture at Deutsche Bank is quite collaborative. Everyone is super helpful and approachable especially if you are a new joiner.
Your Impressions
I could not think of a better role given my current skills and experience.
Yes
Know the bank very well. Ask yourself the question: "What does Deutsche Bank do differently from other banks and why is that interesting to me?". For example, for me it was their commitment to ESG initiatives and their collaboration with big tech companies such as Google.
