  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have enjoyed my time, however at times found it hard due to the flexible working ethic of the company.

  • I feel everyone valued the work we did most of the time, often receiving thank you emails.

  • I have experienced two managers and I have received great support from both.

  • My days ranged but mostly there was enough if not more work to fill the day.

  • As my both of the managers I had worked part time, I had a lot of responsibility from the start. I was also given a great deal of responsibility when I organised events.

  • I have learnt very valuable skills and a lot more about marketing.

  • There are very restricted graduate opportunities within IBM for a marketing role.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a lot of social engagements for the majority of people living in London, however IBM never organised anything.
