Overview
I worked in the sales and client management team and it involved tasks and projects to connect the different lines of businesses within the organization. On a day-to-day basis, I would complete my mandatory trainings, attend the intern speaker series, work on the projects that I was assigned to by my manager and work on a team project with the rest of the interns.
Skills
Yes, I have been able to develop my Excel, PowerBI and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Considering that the program was designed for only 8 weeks, I had a moderate amount of responsibility.
Support & Guidance
The people at the organisation were wonderful! Everybody was very inclusive and supportive.
Culture
The culture is unmatched. Everybody has the freedom to join networks based on their passions. They can also attend after work events or could go out with some of the other colleagues. The dress code was comfortable and working hours were flexible.
Your Impressions
It was almost a perfect experience. I don't think I could have asked for a better opportunity to learn something new.
Yes
For the application, just be yourself because they want to see your personality and see if you can work well in a team. If you do not come off as approachable, then it may be more challenging to convert an assessment center into an offer.
