Overview
Conducted viability Reports (risks) Reviewer documents ensuring compliance with MACE Legal Policies Drafting mini reports of any Potential issues for project development Identified potential problems on reports of title (unique due to my legal background) Contract reviews Engaged with stakeholders during meetings
Skills
Expanding my methods of tackling different problems. Incorporating industry terminology into reports. Continually developed my communication skills due to working with different individuals and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As the weeks went on this increased, which is a good method as I had to understand the industry first to be able to produce work at a good standard.
Support & Guidance
When I asked for support or even more work, it would be provided. The company really hires good and supportive people.
Culture
Based in the Manchester office: The culture was brilliant, approachable staff, patient as well, the only limitation to getting involved in something or talking to people would be yourself. Also, when it hits quitting time, you won't be forced to stay or emotionally guilt-tripped into staying.
Your Impressions
Immeasurably, best decision I have made for any Summer, a great deal is attributed to how my line manager set it up. I was placed on many different projects as opposed to one throughout my internship.
Yes
Go for it, for my role specifically- Consultancy, Project Management- your background does not really matter, as long as you are determined to understand what you will be involved in, you will do well.
