The Role
Everyday was a different challenge which enabled me to go into work fully motivated.
We would have loads of social meetings outside of work which helped ou relationship at work.
If i needed anything I could ask anybody and they would be more then happy to help.
I would be busy all day and If at times I was not then I would tell my manager and new work would be presented.
I was given a wide range of reponsibilities varing from projt manager to project assistant.
I have developed as a individual both professionally an socially and these skil have helped me to look into the future.
The Company
Open office so commiunication was easy. Woud be greeted when coming to work and also when leaving.
Very organised because I had a PDM( Personal development manager) who helped me with admin and any other problems. And also a task manager who I saw everyday for work.
Development is a key at IBM so I was able to help a far bit. Also at IBM thy offer giveback which helps you train and develop as a person.
Financial Bonus
You still have to apply as a new entry but also can be put into a skipping stage known as fast track ( which you also have to apply for).
The Culture
18 placement students based at my location and we would all feel welcomed and like a family.
approx 600 to 700 £ including accomodation.
Its a village so not much to do during the night but when the chances came we would have fun.
Yes but as I was suffering from an injury I was not able to do this. However, I would try and go to the gym every lunch time which helped my day progress.
