Overview
The role is based mostly on review of company and transactions to decide whether the bank should continue to be exposed to the client and, if yes, to which extent it should do so.
Skills
I have learned a lot in terms of PowerPoint and Excel skills. From a financial component, I have strengthened significantly my financial analysis techniques and have managed to gather greater understanding on the macroeconomic environment.
Responsibilities
The responsibility was limited in line with the amount of knowledge required to be involved in complex transactions.
Support & Guidance
I received support not only in training sessions (external and internal) but also through regular contact with my intern manager and colleagues on the floor.
Culture
The company culture was incredibly supportive and inclusive. There is a substantial focus on being willing to learn and be curious, by proactively asking questions.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed very much the experience at the firm, particularly because of the great opportunity to learn and meet knowledgeable people that are always willing to help us learn.
Yes
I would recommend that you be yourself, get informed about what is going on in the industry and in the markets and show curiosity.
