Overview
My role involves working with a team to produce Instrumentation deliverables as part of the detailed engineering design of a project. Also, interns were assigned to groups to work on a research project and present findings to stakeholders.
Skills
I have developed my skills in several areas such as technical, collaboration, communication, and networking. This development was achieved mainly through hands-on involvement on the project I was assigned to and active involvement in several groups within the company.
Responsibilities
I was given several responsibilities ranging from tasks associated with projects and research to completing courses on the company's online training platforms.
Support & Guidance
I received an overwhelming amount of support from both graduate level and managerial level colleagues.
Culture
The company's culture and general atmosphere is such that it encouraged an optimum work-life balance. The culture of support and safety is also very evident in Worley.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed being involved in a real project rather than just taking courses and attending lectures. I also enjoyed the support and guidance I got from my team.
