Overview
- starting the day by listening to morning meetings where analysts do stock pitches - reading coverage reports released in the morning/during the day - adding value to the team by contributing to team projects and working on this throughout the day

- excel skills have developed - ability to think critically and analyse financial data - connecting the dots between financial data

I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a massive learning experience and it allowed me to have a clearer view of the career path that I want.

- Spend time on your CV and cover letter and tailor it to the requirements of DB and the role - Know a lot about the bank, their values, the culture, look into the deals they are working on, past deals, their strategies and initiatives - know the role that you're applying to really well and the expectations of the role, as well as the skillset required for the role - aim to develop your skillset before starting the role so that you're one step ahead
