Analysed existing company data (e.g. regarding diversity), that I could then present to the relevant stakeholders.

Developed data analysis skills, especially working with excel, and developed resilience and communication skills. Also learned how to better troubleshoot tech issues.

Yes, I was given independence to tackle issues by myself, and trusted to present analyses to relevant stakeholders.
