Overview
There were sessions on discovering the different roles within technology and data at LBG. There were also problem solving case studies and presentations where we had the chance to work together and network. We were also introduced to coding skills.
Skills
I’ve developed my communication and presentation skills as there were sessions on this and opportunities to show this.
Business Insight
It was very interesting to see how many different roles are within one area. So there is a role for all different kinds of people which is reassuring.
Culture
The hosts of the event were extremely supportive and engaging. Colleagues within the company who also appeared during the event provided us with interesting insights. So overall the atmosphere was very inclusive.
Your Impressions
As there were many presentations to be done in front of the group, I did feel very nervous but it did very much improve my communication and presenting skills. The insights provided and the information about careers was all very helpful.
