  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I loved my work placement and wish it was for longer than a year.

    • I felt really valued within and outside of my immediate team.

    • I was given a substantially amount of support by my manager, who encouraged me to develop in key areas.

    • I was always kept busy completing relevant work and had the option to push back on work in order to maintain a healthy work life balance.

    • I was given a lot of responsibility especially within an area of my job role, allowing me to train other individuals in this area and also expand it.

    • I have learnt skills for life, had great opportunities to improve them and a wide range of training courses available to me.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • There was a good atmosphere in my office. Everyone is available to assist and share there knowledge- also many people around happy to have a coffee break.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes the placement students had regular events organised with placement students in surrounding areas.

    • I think the cost of living is average.

    • There are many bars and a few clubs which are good to visit at weekends.

    • Yes, there have been numerous social events organised for outside of work hours which has been great to get to know work colleagues better.
