Overview
Communicating with other teams and making engineering decision to ensure safety and standard in design, mainly HS2 for this placement. Use of software and spreadsheet for engineer models.
Skills
Software and communication, such as informed questions and presentation in team meetings.
Responsibilities
I was put in charge of an asset and allowed to supervise it from beginning to end (with the normal checking by others).
Support & Guidance
Little from Line Manager as they were busy or not assigned. Other members of team were very good and so was my assigned buddy. Presentation put on from summer placement students were extremely good + interesting.
Culture
Very good, in office and out-of-office. Communication inside and between teams is good.

It was fairly good, not much more to add.
