Overview
The day start from 9-5 and you have tasks assigned to you by your line manager. The team that you are working with sit around each other and in my case it was the Civil team. They are a diverse team and were very approachable when help is needed. There are a couple of tea breaks and an hours lunch break. There are constant tasks to always keep you busy.
Skills
I have developed multiple skills especially in CAD work and in other civil engineering aspects as well.
Responsibilities
I was always given serious tasks of projects that were actually happening and this was so interesting because I had to work with deadlines.
Support & Guidance
My line manager and other colleagues always helped me when I was in need and from the start of my internship, I was assigned a buddy to help me settle into the work environment.
Culture
People were great, there were lunches, balls and after work link activities. The people were welcoming and they were very understanding.
