Overview
Day to day I help out various members of the department with whatever work needs doing by a grad or an intern, this could be drafting internal emails, updating spreadsheets, doing billing spreadsheets and documents, drafting client emails, making minute templates, updating powerpoint slides, updating action logs, doing research, organising meetings. The work is very varied.
Skills
I have gained many new skills, from taking notes / writing down actions in client meetings to knowing how to update an action log.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given responsibility for a couple of different projects whilst other members of the team were on holiday.
Support & Guidance
The support was excellent, everyone was always happy to help / explain if there was anything I didn't know or didn't understand
Culture
LCP has a lovely culture and atmosphere, everyone is lovely and happy to help and they are flexible on working hours and working from home as well.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it and would love to go back there as a grad!
Yes
Just be yourself! Do your research for the assessment centre as they will want to see that you have made an effort to learn about pensions, but they won't expect you to know everything.
