Skills
Yes, I learnt copywriting, how to make videos using PowerPoint and Adobe Premiere Pro. I developed my presentation skills and my IT skills. I also developed my time management and organisation skills in juggling multiple campaigns at once. I learnt how to manage stakeholders and more.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility in my tasks to manage things individually. I was also encouraged to do more depending on my capability and my interests.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance from my manager and the wider marketing team. My questions were encouraged and answered and time was spent explaining certain things and making sure I had understanding of the work I was doing
Culture
The company culture was great. The intern and graduates community was very welcoming and had many events for socialising. The marketing team also had meet ups to encourage a team building atmosphere. My immediate team was also very welcoming and social.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement a lot. Having other interns alongside me was a bonus but overall, I learnt so much and had fun doing it with my colleagues. It was an amazing experience and I'm glad I did it especially with this company.
Yes
I would say to be yourself and put your best foot forward. That would help in finding the team and role that's the right fit for you. I think that's why I had such a good time there. Also, make sure to network and give every interaction the thought it deserves.
