Overview
Working on both global business and UK politics, pitching stories, researching articles, and doing on the ground reporting.
Skills
Using the Bloomberg terminal, curating a well-rounded pitch, and grasping a better understanding of media law.
Responsibilities
We were lucky enough to be able to pursue, interview, research and write our own stories, as well as collaborating and working extensively with our teams.
Support & Guidance
We had mentors and connectors in place throughout the internship, but our teams and colleagues gave us invaluable guidance throughout as well as opportunities to collaborate with them.
Culture
Generally super diverse, welcoming, and willing to help you out whenever you need.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend it v highly for anyone interested in pursuing media or journalism, particularly within the financial realm.
