Yes, I have. They include podcasting, use of the Bloomberg Terminal, reporting on global news, pitching, use of software such as Headliner and Audition.
Responsibilities
Yes, My team leaders trusted me to speak to news subjects via interviews, email, phone calls and street interviews; write stories, analyse reports, attend events and much more.
Support & Guidance
I had plenty of support from fellow interns, my intern connector, my mentor, my team mates, my team leaders and others in other departments whom I met throughout the internship.
Culture
I felt that Bloomberg provided a good work-life balance.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much. It was sufficiently challenging and by the end I felt I could excel in a fast-paced environment, while also acknowledging that there was still a lot to learn.
Yes
To not be intimidated and to face each step as it comes, without thinking too much about how you compare to others. Basically, believe in yourself and go for what challenges you because you just might quality!
