Overview
Your days are split between Analytics and Sales. In Analytics you receive training on the Terminal and other Bloomberg products. In Sales you work with real clients, managing relationships and also work on team projects.
Skills
I improved my communications skills by calling clients and attending meetings daily. I improved my networking skills by networking within and across departments. I improved my technical and financial knowledge through weekly training.
Responsibilities
Yes, from week 2 you are calling real clients, booking and attending meetings. You are supporting the Sales team in every aspect.
Support & Guidance
You receive a lot of support. Every intern has 2 Managers that look after 4-5 interns. Furthermore, you get 2 mentors, one in Analytics and one in Sales.
Culture
The culture is very collaborative and the hierarchy is very flat, which gives you the opportunity to network with anyone from the company
