Overview
Was put into a specific team in Bloomberg's Data department. Worked on a main project for the team relating to improving their existing workflows. This involved data analysis, coding and collaborating with the team.
Skills
Coding skills, data analysis, communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
I was given the opportunity to actually make a contribution to the existing data workflow.
Support & Guidance
I had a mentor and a buddy who supported me throughout the internship and everyone else in my team and in the wider Bloomberg community was extremely supportive and helpful.
Culture
The culture is extremely friendly and supportive. Everyone is happy to give you guidance and advice.
