  • Bloomberg is a fantastic company with a great culture. The atmosphere is great. People care about other people. People will make time to engage with other people, have catch-ups, and work across teams across departments. It was also great to see some of the philanthropy and charity work, to get involved during the intern day of service - we went to Bikeworks at the Velodrome and built some bicycles.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg
  • Keep an open mind, research the company and the department you want to work for in advance, and don't worry if you don't have a background in finance - they care more about your willingness to show up and learn, ask questions, be curious, grow collaborate, stretch and challenge yourself. The interview is a conversation, not an interrogation. Ask the interviewers some questions as well. Believe in yourself, and keep going.
