    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The role is essentially recruiting for graduate, undergraduate and school and college leaver roles. As a placement student, you gain exposure to all areas of the recruitment process, pipeline management and running assessment centres. There were also opportunities to attend recruitment events, whether that be at universities, external venues or in office. Candidate communication is key, giving great opportunities to develop those skills.

  • My communication and presentation skills have developed massively over the course of this year. The role required me to present virtually several times a week so there was plenty of time to practice and develop both of these skills. I have also developed networking skills as I have been exposed to a massive network of professionals, all in different lines of service.
