Overview
Helped on various tasks across deals as well as specifically for two live deals. And conducted a case study project over the course of the 9 weeks.
Skills
Had one week training for Excel, Accounting fundamentals, and modelling. Was able to use all of these skills to create a coherent 20 minute case study presentation.
Responsibilities
Yes, was responsible for various portions of decks for client deliverables.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance was offered to me by my team.
Culture
Great culture within my team as well as a culture of development across the bank. Broadly, everyone was very friendly and kind. There was not the typical 'investment banking' culture I was expecting. There was also minimal 'face time' culture in my team, if I got the work done to a high standard that was what mattered.
Your Impressions
Very much so. Despite it being draining at times, my team was great so it really helped.
