Overview
Digital Marketing Ninja - Working closely with Brands on Amazon and other platforms. Day to day - start of week usually involves looking at brand's performance and creating action points from this and how to go the extra mile... -Various responsibility including co-managing brands, progressing onto solo brand management (with support) -Market Research -Running advertising campaigns on Amazon -Joining client meetings, progressing onto leading them -Work closely within the team -Creating promotional plans -Reading and utilising reports

Learnt/ Developed many new skills including: Navigating new platforms (Amazon) Running successful advertising campaigns Run client meetings - Developed communication skills What key metric to look for when compiling market research More proficient at Excel and creating complex reports As well as more general skills like time management, confidence, proactiveness
Responsibilities
A lot of responsibility is given. It starts of working collaboratively with your mentor but when you're ready progresses onto managing brands more on your own. The pace of this is very comfortable and its nice to be trusted with the responsibility
Support & Guidance
A lot of support is available. As mentioned you work closely with your mentor and will also have a support network around you who you are able to ask for help if needed.
Culture
Very friendly and relaxed. There is a video call every morning which is often a relaxed place to talk to everyone and discuss general topics away from work.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at This Way Up - all members of the team were welcoming and supportive and I learnt a lot new skills. I was able to put the theory from university into a more practical environment.
Yes
Get involved and ask questions where you can. Pro activeness is a good trait to have and will be valued. You may not know much about the different areas of the job when joining but asking questions to understanding situations more will speed up your progress
