Overview
Helped out with tasks that my colleagues were doing, such as reviewing CAD drawings, Civil 3D drawings, health and safety documents, design statement documents, etc. . Worked on a concept design project with a team of other interns. Got involved in life in the workplace.
Skills
Better communication skills, professional skills, competent in MIDAS, AutoCAD and OpenRoads ConceptStation, more knowledgeable in BIM and project management techniques.
Responsibilities
Little responsibility. Mostly focused on training, overseeing other people's projects and working with other interns on a personal project.
Support & Guidance
Fair amount of support. Some colleagues were more eager to help out than others. Mostly colleagues were open to giving advice.
Culture
Very nice, people were friendly, open to chat and felt like an open, calm atmosphere.
Your Impressions
Overall a good experience. Did not achieve everything I wanted to do but was a good insight into the workplace.

Be open to meeting new colleagues and ask for help and guidance. Get involved in the office.
