Overview
8 week internship focussed around an internal group project. Opportunities to network within firm and take on additional responsibilities e.g. client projects and PA community events
Skills
Networking/forming connections with other employees is prioritised at the firm. Learnt how to reach out to the right people to get the information you need as all work completed involves collaborating with others.
Responsibilities
Given opportunities to get involved with additional client work/ PA community networks. It was completely up to you what you make of the internship so you could take on as much responsibility as you felt comfortable.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support from assigned buddy and line manager. They were a recent grad so it was helpful to ask them questions about their experience at the firm, general advice and tips etc
Culture
Very sociable/relaxed culture. Lot of grads so does not feel as intimidating for interns. Plenty of out of work events/ opportunities to socialise with other interns and also with grads
Your Impressions
Had a great internship. Felt fully supported/ encouraged which meant I was able to make the most out of all opportunities presented to me e.g getting involved in client work. Fellow interns are sociable and friendly which is obviously great.
Yes
Demonstrate your personality in the interview/assessment centre. Important as interviews are online. Think about relevant skills that you have demonstrated previously and see you can apply those to the interview/ assessment centre. Have a growth mindset and be very reflective.
