Overview
Designing social media and in-person assets, project management and facilitating the running of projects, tracking and analysing sales figures to identify problem areas and opportunities
Skills
Excel skills and powerpoint skills have developed a lot, in addition to having gained knowledge about networking and professional courtesies
Responsibilities
I was often tasked with taking the lead on entire projects, having to be the sole point of contact for other stakeholders involved. In general, I was entrusted with quite significant responsibility.
Support & Guidance
Where it was necessary, support and guidance was always offered, and there was never a point where I was unsure on how to complete a piece of work where it wasn't possible to obtain help on it
Culture
The culture and atmosphere was the most admirable thing about the company. The willingness of everyone to help you out and talk to you was great and I was always able to speak to people from other functions who I had never spoken to about things that were of interest to me.
Your Impressions
I really did enjoy the internship. While the function wasn't exactly what I could envision myself doing in the future, for someone who could really envision themselves doing this kind of work, the internship would be perfect in every way and I could not recommend it enough.
Yes
Immerse yourself as much as possible in industry developments as this is something that is key to stand out in the interview
