Overview
Project management support on a project along with a highways alignment optioneering task separate from project work.
Skills
Learnt new software (OpenRoads ConceptStation), understood more about project management, interacted with new people,
Responsibilities
Most of the things I worked on would be submitted to clients or was to be used internally.
Support & Guidance
My line manager and supervisor were incredibly helpful and always responded to every question quickly, no matter how many questions I asked. Arcadis is also a very open company, you can message anyone across the country or globe and they would be willing to help.
Culture
Great culture, they let you work from home without any set number of days you have to be in the office, but the office is great as well.
Your Impressions
I had a great time, learnt a lot and can definitely recommend Arcadis as a company to keep in mind.
Yes
I didn't do anything special, so I wouldn't be able to give good advice. Definitely read up on Arcadis values and some of their projects just in case.
