Content Manager Review

My role includes: - Designing and configuring in-app features -Liaising with creators/ artists/ external management -Creating campaigns in order to grow creator community and exposure -Creating campaigns in order to educate communities on the app -Analyzing campaign data

Yes- I have grown within my communication skills as my job role entails me to speak cross-functionally within departments and with other companies. I have learnt new internal design software's and have also had the opportunity to develop my Excel knowledge.

I was given a great amount of responsibility to which I was very grateful for as it had taught me a lot, not just about the industry and the job role but I learnt a lot about myself and how much I am capable of achieving. I was given the opportunity to create my own campaign which consisted of me setting meetings with creators/ managers and the ability to design banners that were featured on the app.

I had received a huge amount of guidance and support from my manager throughout this internship. My manager thoroughly encouraged me to make the most out of this experience and made me do things that were out of my comfort zone but ultimately always resulted in a positive outcome and enabled me to unlock new achievements whilst doing so.

The company culture and the atmosphere within my team was hands down the best environment to be in. All team members are very fond of one another and very support of one another achievements. It was a lovely and lively atmosphere to be in and something I did not expect having gone into this experience. It has definitely set my expectations high for what type of work environment I would want to be in for in the future.

Hands down the best experience I could of possibly had. The doors and opportunities it has provided for me and will continue to provide for me has been the greatest benefit from this. I have learnt a lot about the industry that I want to be in and have understood what career path I want to take.

Always be yourself and show people who you are. Sometimes it not just about what you know but how much you are willing to learn and how you present yourself. At TikTok, it is easy to hire someone who has the top grades but here it isn't always about that. Another misconception about working for TikTok, is that you have to be a 'TikToker' or have a social media page and its not the case and so that should not stop you from applying.
