Overview
Role involved being in a scrum team, taking part in daily standups and working on real features in Fusion 360. Had several tasks assigned to me to complete over the course of the internship, involving problem solving, writing code and testing.
Skills
Agile methodologies, collaborative coding, source control, unit testing.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given responsibility over real tasks and features that contributed to the software. I was able to have creative freedom to decide how I would approach problems and which solutions and algorithms I would use.
Support & Guidance
Had a supervisor who was always available to answer questions and resolve any problems I had.
Culture
The atmosphere was very positive. Everyone was very helpful and supportive.

I enjoyed it immensely and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to do Software Engineering with an interest in manufacturing.
