Overview
As an intern software engineer at Autodesk, you will be coding on a large code base, collaborating with the team, learning from senior engineers, testing the software, and documenting your code. You will be working with c++ and using git for source control.
Skills
I have learned how to use git for source control, consolidated my knowledge of c++, and learned how to work on a large codebase collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
You are trusted from the start to work on real problems on the real codebase which will be released to the public. Given a lot of independence to work on problems in your own way.
Support & Guidance
It is your own responsiblity to ask for help, however, the team was very supportive and helpful when required.
