Overview
My role involved planning for experiments in a weekly basis, with the support of my supervisor. This typically generated a lot of data to analyse and interpret for the following week. Positive results were all presented in relevant meetings.
Skills
The skills I developed in the lab involved sterile work in a CL2 lab to carry out effective cell culture and manipulation. For this I learned to plan and carry out experiments independently. I have also developed soft skills such as presentational, problem solving, time management and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
I had my own project to develop which led fo the discovery of serval assay platforms to take forward for ADC work. This work is being carried on by other scientists.
Support & Guidance
I received a significant amount of support not only by my supervisor but also by all the members of the HTS lab.
Culture
The company’s culture is very focused on trying to guarantee employee happiness, making them feel heard and important. The atmosphere is extremely supportive and welcoming.
Your Impressions
I found it extremely valuable to consolidate my passion for science and research in particular. I would be excited to be part of the company one day fo contribute to active projects.
Yes
No one has much experience when applying as an UIPS, so the most important thing is to show passion and enthusiasm for science and the company’s key values.
