Overview
Picking up odd jobs, receiving training and learning about particular tasks, sitting in on meetings. There were also 3 assessed excercises to work towards: a written excercise, and investment exercise, and an actuarial exercise
Skills
Gained a lot of knowledge and skill around using excel, developed my communication skills, my knowledge in the pensions industry, and worked on my presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, and it felt like the right amount of responsibility. All the work I did was checked by someone else but I felt like I was still making a useful and significant contribution.
Support & Guidance
Loads, although it depended a little on which department I was in and the people I was working with. Everyone was lovely and supportive, and happy to answer questions
Culture
This was the best thing mahout working here. The culture and atmosphere was incredible. Everyone was really nice and friendly
